  • The Food Advisory Council for Memphis and Shelby County (FAC) is a diverse array of metropolitan Memphis constituents, who meet regularly to promote well-researched and evaluated policies and regulations designed to enhance local food economics, in partnership with farmer advisory boards comprised of urban, suburban and rural growers.

  • The FAC is a community council; in the past, GrowMemphis acted as the sponsor for the council. Since the formation of the Tilth, the Tilth is now the sponsor of the FAC. The Food Policy Program is a program under Memphis Tilth and the FAC is a project of the Food Policy Program.
