A four-part workshop series each Thursday in February at 6 PM hosted by Memphis Tilth at the Memphis Botanic Garden that invites local gardening experts to share their knowledge and experiences with their community.

Tickets purchased online in advance are $8, and tickets at the door are $10. Cash or credit card will be accepted at the door. This event is free to GrowMemphis Garden Leaders, but an RSVP is still necessary.

February 1 - Growing Cacti and Populating Succulents with Manny Pailet of Memphis Botanic Garden

February 8 - Winter Gardening with Carson Ellis of Memphis Botanic Garden
Winter is no time to stay indoors! Join Carson Ellis, a Horticulturist with the Memphis Botanic Garden, to explore the wonders and work of the winter landscape. This talk will serve as an introduction to winter gardening, providing an overview of winter gardening tasks, discussion on choosing plants and designing for the winter landscape, as well as a segment on winter tree identification. Suitable for beginner gardeners, but open to all!

February 15 - Backyard Beekeeping with Mike Larivee of the Cooper-Young Sustainability Committee & The Compost Fairy
Bees and pollinators are essential to any garden. Backyard Beekeeper Mike Larivee will share his experiences on how to incorporate beekeeping into your backyard garden without the use of chemicals.
