Memphis Tilth is a nonprofit collective housing like-missioned initiatives for land, food, people, and place. Our mission is to cultivate collective action for an economically sustainable, socially equitable, and environmentally sound local food system.
Memphis has done an amazing job of launching innovative projects, programs, and small nonprofit organizations to address food system issues, but it was time for us to come together to collectively address the systemic issues in creating a sustainable change in our community. As a collective larger nonprofit, we can leverage our assets to better manage and support these much needed programs and initiatives. Our programs include Bring It Food Hub, GrowMemphis Community Gardens, Food and Faith Initiative, Community Kitchen, Food Access and Affordability, Food Policy and Urban Farms Memphis.
If you are interested in learning more about our organization and what we do, come to this free talk by our operations manager Melissa Dison! No reservations required, and refreshments will be provided. For more information, check out Memphis Tilth Website, https://www.memphistilth.org/.
