Pollinator Palooza

Why is pollination important for the garden, and what wildlife and bugs make it possible? Learn about all the different types of pollinators that are found in the garden, including bees, butterflies, birds, worms, and bats. We will discuss how pollinators are important for growing food and the types of plants that best attract pollinators. Participants will get to examine mason bee homes and a full beekeeping suit. Yoga for Farmers + Gardeners

This gentle flow class will be a relaxing, lighthearted practice that focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility. Though we will focus on positions that benefit areas of the body that can be strained or overworked from gardening and farming, this practice is great for those that don't spend a lot of time working in the outdoors as well! This class welcomes beginners who have never done yoga before as well as experienced practitioners, and will take place in the Shelby Farms Park Greenline Garden, rain or shine.

Location: Greenline Gardens
